Sue-Inspire
Sue-Inspire is a nonprofit established in honour of the late Susan Oboh to impact African youth especially women. The Foundation trains 10,000 Africans yearly to develop skills in digital content creation and build successful careers, sustainable livelihoods that will impact the African community positively.
Susan Oboh was a 600-level pharmacy student at the University of Benin; she lost her life to robbers in March 2022 within just weeks of graduation. Before her death, she was a motion graphics designer and video editor at Orange VFX Studios. Working tirelessly during her school holidays, she mastered these skills and worked on significant projects like the African Union Agenda 2063 documentary videos and TQ works motion graphics.
She was passionate about seeing women and youths develop their potential and utilize their talents to create a positive impact in the world. Susan desired to help women and youths move from the point where they have no skills and unable to work to the point where they are highly skilled and attaining financial independence with their skills. The name Sue-Inspire was chosen by Susan Oboh in 2021 and was launched on the 7th of June 2022 just 3 months after she passed away, which would have been her 24th birthday.
