At the Orange Seed Academy (the training arm of Orange VFX Studios), we do not believe in abstract theories or boring lectures. We believe in immersion. From August 3rd to August 28th, 2026, our premium production facility in Surulere is opening its doors to kids and teenagers aged 8 to 16 for a transformative creative experience. No prior coding, drawing, or technical background is required. We take complete beginners and introduce them to the exact tools and workflows driving the modern digital media, tech, and content creation industries.
What Kids Will Learn at Our Summer Camp in Lagos
Over the course of our intensive four-week camp, our expert studio mentors, in our summer camp in Lagos will guide your child through a cutting-edge, hands-on curriculum built around four critical pillars:
- AI Animation: We introduce students to the future of creative technology. Kids will learn in our summer camp how to leverage safe, cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence animation tools responsibly to generate scripts, design dynamic visual scenes, and bring abstract storytelling concepts to life with the click of a button.
- 3D Modeling & Animation with Blender: Students move out of a flat 2D workspace into the exciting world of 3D geometry. Using Blender, they will learn how to navigate a 3D interface, sculpt digital characters from scratch, manipulate virtual lighting, apply textures, and program fluid movements.
- Video Editing with CapCut: A great animation is nothing without structure. Using the industry’s most popular creator tool, CapCut, students will master the art of storytelling, pacing, cutting raw clips, syncing audio tracks, color matching, and layering engaging sound effects.
- Digital Design with Canva: Visual presentation is everything. Using Canva, kids will learn the core fundamentals of graphic design, typography, color theory, and layout composition. They will design their own YouTube thumbnails, social media flyers, and branding assets to package their creative projects professionally
