The Story of Orange
Our story as a Company started on 5 May 2010 with our founder Richard Oboh. He began as a freelancer until gradually, he built a small team of experienced and passionate individuals who worked on in-house projects with him. In 2020 Orange VFX marked its first decade of existence. Orange VFX is a media and entertainment company leading 3D and Visual Effects content creation in Nigeria. Our goal is to tell world-class African stories to a global audience, and we believe our work speaks for itself. Browse our most recent projects below and enjoy our handmade work with love for every detail.
Stories are powerful, but they are even more powerful when we tell the story visually. Over the last decade, Orange VFX has told powerful stories through digital content creation, evoking thoughts and emotions that people need to keep glued to their screens. Our studios have been helping brands tell visually compelling stories with digital content.
"People forget facts, but they remember stories."
Our Clientele
Our clientele comprises global brands. Over the years, we have worked with top brands like DStv, Access Bank, Coca-Cola, Airtel, African Union, Axxela Group, Dangote Group, Schweppes, and other international entities. In 2019 we worked with the African Union on our first international project. The project had 2 phases: Documentary production and Animation films for Agenda 2063. Shortly following that, we worked with Novozymes, Kenya, to produce 2D animation character explainer videos.

Our Training School
Shortly after incorporation, we identified a massive gap in the skills and know-how in the Nigerian animation and visual effects industry. We needed to build a workforce and a ready pool of talent to tackle content production’s creative and technical challenges in an emerging animation and visual effects market. Thus the training school was born in 2013.
Our goal was simple – to train, inspire and empower the next generation of digital content creators in Africa. Our objective is to yearly train 1000 youth to bridge the knowledge and skill gap whilst building team spirit, confidence and the right attitude amongst African youth.
