To take this course you’ll need:

  • A basic understanding of Windows or Mac Operating system
  • No drawing skills required
  • Download and install the free version of Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects (will be provided at the event)
  • Computer (laptop preferrably) that meets Autodesk Maya system requirements
  • Windows® 10, Windows® 8, Windows® 7 or Mac OS
  • 32-bit/64-bit Intel or AMD multi-core processor
  • 2 GB of RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • 16 GB of free disk space for installation
  • Qualified hardware-accelerated OpenGL® graphics card
  • 3-button mouse

SCHEDULE

3D modeling and animation have transformed numerous fields, including filmmaking, computer games, architecture and product design. Yet the underlying basis of high-quality 3D production originates in traditional design and animation methodologies. This course provides an introduction to the exciting world of 3D content creation, while emphasizing its connection to the creative thought process.
